Whether you are new to Jonathan's program, or an ongoing student looking to advance, this clinic is for you.

Horsemanship is about feel and fluid transitions from one moment with the horse to the next.

This intensive clinic combines the first 3 levels of Jonathan’s foundational program,  and shows how to apply it in developing a horse at any level.

Students will learn how to engage their imagination in order to put concepts and exercises together in a way that best helps their horse.

3L'S HORSEMANSHIP ~ CLINIC OUTLINE

  • Learn how to apply all 3 foundational course levels at once when developing a horse.
  • Recognize how leadership & partnership work together to create a calm, willing relationship with your horse.
  • Develop your horse's self-carriage for healthy biomechanics (both on the ground and riding) for long-term soundness.
  • Focus on refinding your equitation with direct and specific feedback on your riding.
  • Develop maneuvers like correctly balanced circles, leg yield, shoulder-in, half-pass and lead departures/changes.
  • Learn purpose-driven exercises such as the "Samarai Circle" and "Tye-dye" patterns to help your horse find connection, balance and relaxation in movement.
  • And more . . .
✴ Each clinic has a different dynamic of people and horses. Some lessons may be focused on more than others, including some not mentioned here. If one of these goals is important to you, please mention so at the beginning of the clinic.
