This combined event offers two separate clinics in our popular small-group format. Riders choose which clinic to participate in with their horse, and are encouraged to audit the alternate clinic to maximize their learning.

Intro To Liberty (Course 1) will take place in the mornings.

Intro To Bridleless Riding (Course 2/3) will take place in the afternoons.

INTRO TO LIBERTY ~ OUTLINE

  • Discover the fundamental key concepts of Jonathan's liberty training program by fine-tuning on line first.
  • Learn to accurately read your horse and respond appropriately using Drive/Draw concepts.
  • Improve your feel and timing online and at liberty with clear communication that is meaningful to the horse.
  • Learn how to stretch your horse mentally to build a stronger connection with your horse.
  • As an introduction to Liberty training, horses will remain on a 12' lead during the course.

INTRO TO BRIDLELESS RIDING ~ OUTLINE

  • It's all about connection! Learn how the fundamental principles of liberty training apply to riding - both with and without the bridle.
  • Don't worry - this isn't about removing all your tack and hoping for the best! Here you'll learn the steps that strengthen your connection as a rider with your seat and leg aids. Many riders and horses rely too heavily on the bit.
  • Become a more precise and balanced rider to assist your horse in achieving healthy, relaxed movement.
  • Learn to utilize your balance, seat and leg aids to guide your horse effectively.
✴ Each clinic has a different dynamic of people and horses. Some lessons may be focused on more than others, including some not mentioned here. If one of these goals is important to you, please mention so at the beginning of the clinic.
