In "Buck Don't Bite Me!" renowned horse trainer Jonathan Field takes on the task of managing Buck, a dangerous Thoroughbred from Circle F Horse Rescue in Abbotsford, BC. Buck's troubled history and health complications have resulted in risky behavior, leading to injuries among the volunteers. In this debut episode, Field evaluates Buck's behavior and its root cause - could it be pain, a difficult past, or the need for the volunteers to gain more knowledge? His aim is to ensure safety and respect between Buck and the handlers while reducing Buck's fears and anxieties. Join us on this journey as we track Buck's transformation from a menace to a peaceful horse, highlighting the importance of patience, kindness, and understanding. Jonathan Field's journey with Buck, the troubled horse, continues. Despite Buck's resistance, displayed through kicking, bucking, and frenzied running when taken out of his pen, Jonathan remains patient and determined. He works patiently with Buck, leading to moments when the horse moves around contentedly. Circle F volunteer Celina also gets a chance to handle Buck. Initially frightened, Jonathan's guidance helps her quell her fears and achieve some progress with Buck. Buck's journey to trust and calm is far from over, given his difficult past. Yet, it's heartening to see him move around happily, possibly for the first time in years. Stay tuned to stay up to date on Bucks journey.

Jonathan Field visits the Highfield Stock Farm in Calgary, the premier thoroughbred farm in Western Canada. Jonathan meets Jennifer Buck and Tracey Skinner to see the good work they have been doing implementing his program with their weanling and yearling program. Jennifer shares how the Jonathan Field Horsemanship Program has been a huge help for the young horses as they prepare to become racehorses. Jonathan gets to see the foals in action doing cool things like walking around a fun obstacle course they have made in their arena. He also helps out with one feisty weanling demonstrating how to lead properly and not trap a young worried horse. In addition, we go to the stallion barn to see the beautiful stallions and even unexpectedly get to see a Spanish stallion. It was a great visit and such a joy to see these young horses being treated so well and respectfully. Stay Inspired by Horses!

Jonathan Field shares the inspiring story of Cam, his Andalusian Stallion, and his long journey to join a herd after living a solitary life. With the help of Armando, a unique assistant, Jonathan brings home an Andalusian named Armando and sets out on a journey that takes them through a town where Jonathan almost lost his life 20 years ago. Along the way, he meets Elly and Nathan Foote, an inspirational couple, who offer words of encouragement. Despite the challenges and setbacks, Cam eventually learns to socialize and make his way into the herd. Follow Jonathan and his herd as they share their incredible story of determination, hope, and the power of connection.
