Designed for confident riders on a reliable horse, it puts Course 1, 2, and 3 concepts to a real purpose through creative tasks and thoughtful challenges—giving you a chance to test your teaching, confirm your communication, and see whether your horse truly understands their end of the partnership

Heated Indoor Arena
Spacious parking. Bleacher seating. Washrooms & wash rack. Pets and smoking not permitted onsite.
Food & Drink
Bring your own or plan to travel 5-10 minutes for local restaurants.
Stabling
Self board. Bring your own hay/feed and water bucket. Indoor boxstall is included with your rider fee. Bedding not included - bring your own shavings.
Camping
Dry camping near the arena (no hook-ups) at no cost. Please pre-book with clinic host.

JONATHAN FIELD
Jonathan is an internationally acclaimed horseman, clinician, presenter, mentor, and author dedicated to helping people become better with horses.
With a diverse equestrian background, exceptional teaching skills, and a committement to meaningful change, he's a sought-after presenter and clinician at top events across North America.
A foundation specialist, Jonathan focuses on developing feel—the ability to read and respond to the horse—on the ground, under saddle, and at liberty. Rooted in classical principles, his program emphasizes healthy biomechanics and the horse's mental and physical well-being.
It's the foundation every horse and horse person should have—for any discipline or activity.
Jonathan's methods go beyond technique, inspiring a way of being that leads to true, lasting change for horses and riders.

CLINIC OUTLINE
Ground Work + Riding
Topics covered in the Fundamentals & Clinic:

- Build communication using the Primary Equine Language to get good body control.
- Learn to read your horse's behaviour and understand the psychology of the horse.
- Explore how using a purpose can bring out your horse's athletic ability without force, and build relaxation in movement along the way.
- Learn how to "stretch the elastic band" with your horse mentally and physically to create a stronger connection.
- Use creative exercises to help your horse find bend and balance for correct biomechanics and healthy movement.
- Test your teaching and learn creative ways to check if your horse truly understands your communication.
- Improve your balance and coordination as a rider and have a ton of fun along the way!

Large Group Format
Every Clinic Is Unique
Jonathan tailors each clinic to meet the needs of the horses and riders present.
Some lessons may be focused on more than others, including topics not listed.
If a particular goal is important to you, please mention so at the beginning of the clinic.
Rider Payment
Visa, Mastercard, Etransfer & check accepted.
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration to confirm your rider spot in the clinic. Deposits are non-refundable, non-creditable and non-transferrable.
The remaining balance (plus stabling/camping fees) will be due 30 days before the start of the clinic.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel at any time, your Deposit is *forfeited.
If your balance has been paid, it will be converted to a Jonathan Field Credit (minus a $50 cancellation fee). Credits are valid for 2 years and can be used towards merchandise, equipement, digital courses or membership, or future clinics/camps.
*If we can fill your spot with another rider, both your deposit and balance will be credited (less the $50 cancellation fee).
